Installing an internet surveillance camera in 3 easy steps
Hi! In this article, I’ll explain you how easy it is to install an IP camera. Although it sounds difficult, believe me, it’s not. Please send me your comments if you think there’s a way to make it even easier (service providing offers are not allowed 
).
From taking care of your beloved properties, to check your dog’s behavior when you’re not home, an IP camera can be a valuable tool for being there without actually being there (don’t worry, installing an IP camera way too much easier than understanding that paradox). To make things even easier, we’ll use the TRENDnet SecurView Internet Surveillance Camera TV-IP110 
1. The location
First things first, right? What do you want to check? Remember having light sources behind the camera’s lens will give an excellent image, while having them in front of the lens will make the images appear blurry. If possible, place the camera so your light source (say, the window) is always on the back. At least try not to take it from the front.
2. Download the driver
- 1. Choose your product version according to the instructions here:TRENDNET TV-IP110
- 2. Download the firmware, Setup wizard and Secure View, change your camera´s IP Address with the IPSETUP wizard to match your PCs Ip Address.
- 3. Next… Next… You know that process, don’t you?
3. Use it
- 1. Open Secure View
- 2. System Configuration → Camera List → Search . Your new camera should appear here. If it doesn’t, check that it’s connected to the network and is powered on.
- 3. Add the camera (default user and password: admin)
- 4. You should be ready to geek on with the buttons that appear in the camera status
