Am I a Geek? Lets find out... The term geek has traditionally been one that is used in a nearly derogatory manner towards those that value intellectual stimulation and studying deep into various fields such as science, technology, and art. Geeks have always been absorbed into learning as much as they can about their interests and surroundings, sometimes putting themselves at the risk of foregoing social norms. This can make geeks appear strange to much of society, often making them the target of mockery and even ridicule. However, in the last few years, the term "geek" as well as the people that proudly call themselves geeks have enjoyed a surge in popularity and social acceptance.
